BACKGROUND:
Creativity for Good is a PM Society initiative that gives agencies the chance to support a chosen charity each year. Agencies pitch campaign ideas based on the charity’s needs, and the winner is announced at the PM Society Awards.
For 2024/2025, the selected charity is Acrodysostosis Support and Research.
Acrodysostosis is a rare congenital condition that causes shortening of the limbs and knuckles, with around 90% of affected children also experiencing intellectual disabilities.
CHALLENGE:
Create a multi-channel awareness campaign for both healthcare professionals and the wider public.
RESULT:
We won! Our concept was chosen from 21 submissions.
The campaign centres on brachydactyly – underdeveloped hands, as a visual cue. Patients use the gesture to "Take 5", encouraging people to:
learn about the disease, hear real stories, understand diagnosis, and see how even a £5 donation can make a difference.
This simple, versatile idea, backed by a media plan built on earned reach, secured the win. The campaign now moves into production.
